What is Men’s Health Month?
Supported by Men’s Health Network (MHN), Men’s Health Month takes place every June as a reminder to men across the US of how important it is to maintain one’s health and wellness.
There are numerous screenings that men should have performed on an annual basis, including those for:
- Prostate Cancer
- Blood Pressure
- Testicular Cancer
- Mental Health
- Low Testosterone
- Skin Cancer
Men’s Health Network is dedicated to educating men on the different screenings that they should have performed annually. Regular screening is the only way to catch and potentially prevent diseases like cancer and high blood pressure.

What Can You Do To Protect Your Health?
This month, the team at Western New York Dermatology urges men to take control of their health and schedule a visit to their primary physician if they haven’t yet been there this year.
Also, if it has been more than a year since your last skin check please give us a call at 716-831-2600 to schedule an appointment!
